Privacy Policy

What this covers
This page explains how the Workeon marketing site (workeon.ai) handles personal information. Workeon's desktop app is local-first by design: any data you process inside the desktop product stays on your machine unless you explicitly opt into a cloud feature.
What we collect from this site
- Waitlist form: email address, business type, and your one-sentence pain point. Optional fields if you choose to share them: city, team size, phone number, website or social handle.
- Anti-spam metadata: a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to detect duplicate or scripted submissions). We never store the raw IP.
- Privacy-friendly analytics: we use Plausible, which is cookie-free and does not track you across sites. We see aggregate page views and event counts — never you specifically.
Why we collect it
- To follow up with you about the Pioneer 20 offer and Workeon's launch.
- To prevent automated abuse of the waitlist (the IP hash and an in-house rate limit).
- To understand which pages and content help people, in aggregate.
We do not sell your data, ever. We do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
Where it's stored
Waitlist submissions are stored in our Supabase database. Analytics events are stored by Plausible (cookie-free). We don't use any third-party CAPTCHA or bot-protection service — abuse is handled inside this codebase.
How long we keep it
We retain waitlist data until you ask us to delete it, or until the Pioneer 20 program is closed and we've completed launch communications — whichever is later. IP hashes roll off after 30 days.
Your rights
Whether or not the GDPR or CCPA applies to you, we treat the rights they describe as the floor: access, correction, deletion, and the right to object to processing. Email privacy@workeon.ai and we'll act on the request as soon as we reasonably can.
The desktop app itself
The Workeon desktop app processes your business data on your machine. With local models bundled (Gemma 4, Kimi 2.5, Qwen 4), no client data ever leaves your hardware. With BYOK cloud (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok), data goes only to the provider whose API key you configured — never to Workeon. We do not have a server-side copy.
Changes
When this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date and email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
